BOXING

Our Bodyflex boxing class is fun and intense. Effective Boxing techniques and functional drills put an emphasis on toning and fat burning.


BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU (BJJ)

BJJ

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling with the goal of gaining a dominant position, using joint-locks and chokeholds to force an opponent to submit. The main emphasis in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is to dominate the opponent through application of technique and force them to quit (submit). It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person using leverage and proper technique can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can be trained for self-defence, sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition. Sparring, commonly referred to as ‘rolling’, and live drilling play a major role in training.

By using the techniques of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a smaller practitioner, male or female, can control much larger and stronger opponents and actually force the larger opponent to submit.

Our BJJ classes are tailored to individuals who are looking to gain the fitness benefits of sports BJJ or those who are wanting to use it for competitive purposes or incorporate it into their MMA game.

ZUMBA® KIDS & ZUMBA® KIDS JR. program is the ultimate dance-fitness party for young Zumba fans ages 4-11, where they can play it loud and rock with friends to their own rules! This program features age-appropriate music and moves that get kids movin’ to the beat. It’s all about feeling fearless on the dance floor, reinforcing the idea that it’s okay to just be yourself and dance like no one’s watching!

BURN!®

BURN!® is a one of a kind choreographed dumbbell workout. Burn! Takes 1.5-2.5kg dumbbells & fuses this with movements that are dance inspired which will shape, sculpt & improve your muscle tone.

JAGUA®

JAGUA® is a body sculpting class choreographed to Hip Hop, Pop, Afro & Old School Music. It is a body conditioning class that may help build flexibility, muscle strength, muscle tone and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back. It is about creating a lean, strong and toned body in a musical environment that improves your physical and emotional well being. Jagua takes inspiration from Ballet, Dance, Pilates, Yoga, Hip Hop & Stretch Classes. Expect to squat & lift your entire body to your favourite songs from Michael Jackson to Beyonce.
